When a Barcelona superblock takes the cars out of an intersection, a whole corner suddenly belongs to people. But where should the benches go? We let people answer first. The shortcuts walkers already take across the junction become repelling attractor points: the paths stay open, and benches, planters and shade canopies settle into the dead corners between them. A 3.5 m lane stays clear for emergency vehicles, and every planter can be moved.
